Loving all the beauty that surprises and excites all the senses! The things I remember most about Kauai are the smells….plumeria, salt spray, hot sand, warm breezes (ok sometimes sandblasting winds!), fresh fish. Thanks for sharing and bringing it all back!

Kit and Pat here: wonderful pictures: we spent several days about 6 years ago at the Grand Hyatt Poipu: beautiful! Finishing next week our winter in La Quinta CA; also a spectacular place! Head back to Missoula for summer May 5.
May 5 is my 83rd B’Day. Please say hi to Missoula for us. We may come back in August for a couple of weeks to bring some stuff back to Kauai. I’ll let you and Kit know. 😀
I love that you support the local farmers markets and businesses! I have been to farmers markets on Kauai, Maui and the Big Island. In each visit, I still have an item that brings back the memories ... except the hot sauces I bought on the Big Island. They are long gone.

It’s fascinating to see the variety of produce as it changes during the year. Mangos are just coming in. And passion fruit is missing.
